It has been sunny and warm summer but sadly it seems to be over soon. It feels freezing outside and suddenly I realized that I haven't updated anything to here. My dear blog has been sadly neglected for a long time even I have had new knits that have been ready some time!
In the spring I got a chance to be one of the test knitters for Ilona (
Ilun handu duunaa) and her beautiful traditional sock design. She even send me the yarns!
Yarn: Pirkanmaan kotityö Kirjo-Pirkka
Needles: 2,75 mm
These socks are beautiful and I really love the bird pattern but sadly my calfs are too wide to fit in them properly. Sigh...I have to give them to someone. I hope I can find someone who appreciates them as much as I do! :)
